CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Clean before first use.  Wipe clean with Baby Wipes or disinfect by cleaning with Milton.  Velcro One-wrap can be cleaned in the washing machine—gentle cycle, cold water, in a wash bag to prevent attachment to other garments

TO CUSTOM FIT

1. If required cut Cot Teething Rail (CTR) with sharp scissors to the length of your cot rail.  Cut adhesive Velcro hook (rough with adhesive sticker on back) in half and stick to underside of CTR to correspond with your rail gaps (for a stronger bond clean the area where the adhesive will be placed with Rubbing Alcohol)  Allow 24hrs bonding time.

2. Wrap Velcro One-wrap around your rail with the smooth loop side on the side facing out.  Place  the CTR that has the adhesive Velcro hook on it on top of the Velcro One-Wrap.  Ensure they line up with one another.

3. Press down firmly to attach.

How does it fit so many cots?

As it is such a soft plastic it is pliable enough to fit different rail sizes

 

Is it only enough for one cot rail or does it cover 2?

It is the standard cot size of 1.3m, so covers one rail side.  If you need the rail to be longer, please contact us and we will endeavour to have one specially made.

 

It seems very good value for money?

Very much so, it has a large quantity of the best quality plastic and as such is extremely good value for money, especially when you compare it to the cost of a baby rattle or hand held teether!  And as it can be completely cleaned , even underneath the rail—no trapped germs, it can be used for more than one baby.

 

How do you attach it.

It comes with Velcro for attachment via the instructions at the top of this page,  the strongest attachment will be achieved if the area on the underside of the Cot Teething Rail that the adhesive is going to be stuck to has been cleaned with rubbing alcohol first.  No adhesive is stuck directly to your cot.  Alternatively you can buy Buckled Straps that attach over the top of the Cot Teething Rail.

 

I would like to purchase the optional Straps, how many would you recommend that I buy?

3 Straps—one for each end and one in the middle.

 

Does it stick to the rail of my cot and cause damage.

No—the Cot Teething Rail is designed as a teething accessory to soothe sore gums at the same time protects your Baby and your cot rail.  The adhesive Velcro is stuck to the Cot Teething Rail product not your Cot Rail.

 

What if my Toddler can remove it?

The Velcro that comes with the rail is safe to wrap around the outside if your baby is strong enough to take it off.  A custom Velcro strap is currently being designed.  Another option is the Straps which attach over the top and cannot be removed by toddlers, which are also very decorative.

 

What should I clean it with?

Baby wipes work wonderfully, alternatively you could disinfect the rail by cleaning it with Milton.

 

What is your return policy?

Please contact us via telephone if you are not satisfied and wish to exchange or return your purchase.  Products may be returned ONLY in original condition (all packaging must be intact and include all brochures etc) within ten days of receipt.  Where applicable we will exchange the product or refund the purchase price.  Please return the product to us with postage paid.  Postage charges are not refundable.

 

 

Please note: Due to the Cot Teething Rail being made from a soft, chewable plastic, it can occasionally have uneven texture on some parts of the rail, which in no way affects its performance or overall look.
